Hello. My name is Jamison Lounsbury, and I live in Austin, TX. On a whim, I moved here from Virginia six years ago. It's strange that my life now is the result of a whim. I'm not one of those people that thinks Austin is super hip and awesome and the place to be. It is hip, but this is one of the things that annoys me about it. The ever changing fads and hipsters annoy me, and that's when I miss the awkward East coast. I have come to love Austin though, and it almost feels like home.
Before deciding to go to Texas State, I spent time teaching in Japan and China. I was somewhat addicted to traveling and also hopped around South America. It's been interesting standing still.
